WHY JOIN OR RENEW?  

This year, I am asking members to reflect on what momentum means to them.

Momentum is more than motion. It is the steady, intentional progress that builds when individuals commit to growth, leadership, and service. In our profession, momentum comes from mentorship, from sharing knowledge, from welcoming new lawyers into leadership roles, and from ensuring that the next generation has the tools and opportunities to thrive.

This year, I encourage our members to think about how each of us can contribute to the forward movement of our Bar. Whether you are early in your career or a seasoned practitioner, your participation fuels the energy and direction of our association. When we invest in younger lawyers, support one another professionally, and remain engaged in our community, we create a collective force that carries us all forward.

In the spirit of Momentum, our monthly CLE luncheons will feature a dynamic lineup of speakers who will share practical insights, professional experiences, and perspectives that help us grow as lawyers and leaders. We will continue to provide meaningful programming designed not only to educate, but to inspire progress at every stage of practice.

Additionally, we will continue our networking events, happy hours, the Holiday Party, Spelling Bee, 5k Run/Walk, Golf Tournament, and our popular Judicial Reception. As a member, you will enjoy luncheons with complimentary CLE, opportunities to join committees, receive our monthly SideBar Newsletter, and participate in the professional and social events that strengthen our Bar.

Our Immediate Past President, Jeanette Lugo, and Board worked hard to build a strong foundation for our association. Let us build on that foundation and keep the momentum moving forward by renewing your membership today, or by joining us for the first time. I am confident this year will be a success because of the dedication and engagement of our membership.
